Marty Davis Speaks at the 2009 ICVPME

Martin Davis spoke at the 2009 International Conference on the Valuation of Plant Machinery & Equipment, held in San Francisco, CA on October 4-7, 2009. Marty’s session addressed the “Appraisal and Sale of Dairy Processing Plants”.
 
Marty’s presentation addressed the different types of dairy processing plants, typical plant flows and equipment, the proper listing and categorization of equipment types, alternative uses for dairy processing equipment and other influences on the value and viability of plants and their underlying equipment. Among other things, Marty also addressed milk supply and transportation costs, what distinguishes a survivor in the industry and why they survive and the sales cycle of a complete dairy processing plant and its components.
